Berger, FHFA Acting Director Thompson meet to discuss housing priorities
NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger and members of NAFCU's award-winning advocacy team yesterday met with FHFA Acting Director Sandra Thompson and Acting Chief of Staff Danielle Walton.

NAFCU encourages CUs to submit insights, concerns regarding Fed's interchange proposal
Credit unions are encouraged to submit industry insights regarding the Federal Reserve's proposal on interchange regulation. NAFCU previously sent members a Regulatory Alert highlighting how the proposed changes would effect credit unions and outlined several questions for credit unions to consider when providing feedback; comments are due to NAFCU July 28.

Beige Book reveals economy continues to strengthen
The Federal Reserve's Beige Book, released Wednesday, revealed the U.S. economy strengthened further from late May to early July and displayed moderate to robust growth.
