This is a big moment. Late last night, Senate Budget Committee Democrats announced their plans to expand Medicare to include dental, vision, and hearing benefits in the next budget reconciliation package.

Late last night, Senate Budget Committee Democrats announced their plans to expand Medicare to include dental, vision, and hearing benefits in the next budget reconciliation package. This is a significant step forward – and it wouldn’t have been possible without relentless organizing.

But we’re not across the finish line yet. We must fight to ensure that the final reconciliation bill includes full coverage of dental, vision, and hearing benefits, and, we must keep demanding that Congress include provisions to allow Medicare to negotiate drug prices, lower the eligibility age to 60, and include an out-of-pocket cap. We have an opportunity to expand and improve health care for millions of people now if we take action.

You have a vital role to play. We need you to urge them to support Medicare expansion at this pivotal moment.

With your unique role in this fight, will you call Sens. Casey and Toomey right now and help us push Medicare expansion over the finish line?

Hi, my name is _____, and I'm calling from Philadelphia.

I’m calling to urge Sens. Casey and Toomey to support Medicare improvements and expansion in the budget reconciliation package. Specifically:

1) Allowing Medicare to negotiate prescription drugs to lower drug prices.

2) Improving Medicare to include dental, hearing, and vision and an out-of-pocket cap, and

3) Lowering the Medicare eligibility age to 60.

86% of voters are in support of these policies including 82% of Republicans. Will they commit to supporting these policies? Thank you for your time.

At this pivotal moment, they need to hear from you loud and clear that all three of these demands are a priority and must be included in the package.

These policies aren’t a replacement for Medicare for All, which we continue to fight for every day, but they do represent an immediate opportunity to improve millions of lives. And by improving and expanding Medicare, we can immediately begin to take on the greed of the private insurance and pharmaceutical industries.

We’ve never been closer to seeing these major improvements to Medicare included in the budget reconciliation package, and by taking a few minutes today to make a call to Sens. Casey and Toomey, you can help us win this fight.

Thank you for taking action today – let’s do this!
