John —

I'm working hard to make healthcare less expensive for Michiganders, and that starts with lowering our sky-high prescription drug costs. That's why I introduced House Bill 5107 last week, legislation that would allow for the regulated wholesale importation of prescription drugs from Canada, and I need your help getting it a hearing.

One in ten Michiganders don't take the medicine they need because they can't afford it. This bill would allow them to buy prescription drugs imported from Canada, where drug prices are 30 percent lower on average. It would give Michiganders access to safe, regulated prescription drugs at lower costs while by encouraging competition in the marketplace. This plan is good for business, good for people, and good for Michigan.

We know Big Pharma will fight tooth and nail to maintain their monopolies and keep this bill from passing. Will you help us fight back to lower drug costs for Michiganders?

Chip in $10 or whatever you can afford to help us continue the fight for lower prescription drug costs across Michigan

The Safe, Low-Cost Prescription Drug Plan is a no-brainer -- a safe, effective way to bring drug prices down so Michiganders get the treatment they need at a price they can afford. Please help spread the word, call your legislators, and chip in if you can help us continue in this fight.

Thanks for all you do,
