From the record-breaking heat wave that has claimed hundreds of lives in the Pacific Northwest, to the recent floods across Virginia, to an underwater gas leak in the Gulf of Mexico that literally set the ocean ablaze, the events from the first few weeks of this month alone make an urgent case for tackling the climate crisis.
