Team — we already knew President Trump and his supporters had a
propensity for inciting violence, but this latest news has us
outraged. Here’s what the New York Times had to say:
The conference, which featured speakers like Don Jr., Sarah
Huckabee Sanders, and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, was held by a
pro-Trump group called American Priority. And while the group says the
video wasn’t part of a “sanctioned” portion of the event, we
were left wondering why anyone going near this high-profile conference
would think this video was remotely appropriate.
Then we realized the answer was pretty simple: it all
comes from the top.
From the beginning, President Trump encouraged this kind of
behavior from his supporters, and he has refused to condemn any of the
violence they’ve perpetrated in his name.
This behavior is reprehensible, and with constant national
security threats from home and abroad, the last thing the American
people need is a president who emboldens his supporters to commit
violence.
If you’ve read this far, you’re probably wondering what
YOU can do about this. Our solution is simple: Bring an end to the presidency of Donald J.
Trump. ⇨
Our team is working tirelessly to make Donald Trump a
one-term president, but the only way we’re going to do that is if we
can hit our fundraising goals and keep the momentum
going.
Can you help us do that by making a
contribution in any amount to our campaign today? Only together will
we be able to take violence out of our political
discourse.
