Folks, this week Texas Democrats stunned the nation by walking out on a special legislative session that Republicans had called to pass voter suppression bills. Their bold action has bought time for Texas -- and inspired us to fight harder than ever right here in Michigan.

This year alone, Michigan Republicans have introduced 39 voter suppression bills that would make it harder to cast a ballot. According to Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, these bills are even worse than those in Georgia.

We’re not going to let this happen. Governor Whitmer is ready to veto any voter suppression bill that comes her way -- and Haley Stevens is fighting hard in Congress to pass bold legislation like the For the People Act that will protect voting rights nationwide.

National Republican know that if they can flip just 5 battleground seats like Haley’s, they’ll have the power to wreak havoc on our voting rights. With so much on the line, will you chip in $25 or any amount to our grassroots campaign to keep this seat blue?
