Hello Somebody!

At the start of the day, my team told me that depending on how today goes, we had a chance to raise $50,000 in a single day ahead of our FEC deadline at midnight tonight.

Now, thanks to an overwhelming response from thousands of grassroots supporters like you, we are actually very, very close to hitting this goal. In fact, depending on when you’re reading this, it could be YOUR donation that puts us over the top.

Here's where things stand right now:

Please, stand with our movement for change and make a contribution to our campaign today. It’s going to take ALL of us standing together to defeat the powerful special interests who will raise and spend unlimited amounts of money to stop our grassroots movement. Votes are being cast right now, so it’s important that we’re able to respond immediately.

Already, corporate-funded Super PACs are spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on false attack ads, and sending out mailers that lie about my position on the issues.

Our opponents, recognizing that our policy agenda is WILDLY popular here in OH-11, have resorted to blatantly lying about what I stand for in a desperate attempt to mislead voters.

We cannot let these lies go unanswered. The success of our movement depends on it. So before tonight’s midnight deadline, I am humbly asking:

Will you please make a donation — of $5 or whatever you can afford to give — before tonight’s midnight deadline hits so that we can hit our $50,000 goal and respond to these blatantly false and misleading attacks? Votes are being cast right now, so this is urgent.

I know my team has sent you a lot of emails leading up to this FEC deadline. I get them too. So I want to make sure to say THANK YOU for sticking with us, and thank you to everyone knocking on doors, making calls and organizing their communities for an Ohio that works for everyday people.
