Friend — this summer, we're facing the most important environmental campaign in history. It all centers on Biden's Build Back Better Agenda. Here's the situation:

Last month, Republican and Democratic senators agreed on a basic proposal to invest in infrastructure. The plan falls short. The most important environmental provisions were left out of the bill. Alone, it simply doesn't meet the scale of the crises we face.

Alongside that proposal is a more inclusive and adequate package that is moving through the reconciliation process, which only requires 50 votes to get through the Senate. This could be the most important climate change legislation in history — our shot to put our nation on the path to 100% carbon-free energy powering our electricity grid. Our shot at clean cars, buses, and buildings. Our shot to address the toxic legacy of pollution harming too many communities of color across this country.

But passing the second bill requires the environmental movement to show up in a big way now, and through this fall.

Your contribution will go directly towards campaigns in swing states and districts across the country. It'll help drive meetings with members of Congress on the Hill and in their districts. It'll help run digital, tv, and billboard ads pushing and praising key lawmakers. It'll rally grassroots support from around the country.
