This week, Texas Democrats made the brave choice to leave the state to stop Governor Abbot and the GOP from ramming through a voter suppression bill targeting people of color and young people.

Last year, we supported Ann Johnson, the only red-to-blue flip in Texas. Now, she’s a leading voice in the walkout.
