Did you see this John?
This headline needs to wake up every progressive and Democrat who's been getting complacent.
While so many of us have been worrying about QAnon supporters like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene holding power in Congress, QAnon is focused on taking over our school boards, city councils, and state legislatures.
They're building institutional power and strategizing as you read this very email.
To tell you the truth, I'm worried. (And I really hate admitting that.)
QAnon supporters are hoping to build credibility and institutional power at the state and local levels, and they're
succeeding. They're using the playbook of folks like KKK leader David Duke -- Duke was a state representative who used that kernel of credibility to become a general election candidate for U.S. Senate in 1990 and governor in 1991. And like QAnon followers are doing now, he downplayed his most repugnant beliefs to lull more Republicans into voting for him.
We stop QAnon from taking over governors' seats, the House, the Senate -- and god forbid the presidency -- by stopping them from taking over our school boards. (And at the same time, keep them from turning QAnon conspiracies into official curriculums.)
Can you chip in $5 to support young, diverse progressives who can defeat these enemies of progress?

There's no denying that these QAnon candidates are passionate about their delusions.
But here's the thing --
no one is more passionate about this country's future than the young progressives we're recruiting, training, supporting, and electing.
That's why I have no doubt that we can stop the possibility of a QAnon takeover.
Since 2017, we've made it our goal to help win local and state seats for diverse, young progressives. Today, this goal is as important as ever -- if we don't come together and fight like hell, QAnon
will continue to gain support, race by race, all the while spreading policies that are harmful to our communities and our country.
We've got the tools to help diverse, young progressives beat QAnon followers, but we need to continue counting on grassroots support to do it. Will you chip in $5 to stop QAnon believers from winning institutional power?
Thank you,
Amanda Litman
