Since the 117th Congress was sworn in in January, House Democrats have been hard at work writing legislation and passing bills that have and will improve the lives of Americans all across the country. So far, Jan and her colleagues have:

• Passed the Paycheck Fairness Act, which eliminates gender-based wage discrimination
• Delivered necessary economic and healthcare relief to families, individuals, and struggling businesses rocked by the COVID-19 pandemic
• Reauthorized the Violence Against Women Act, which establishes protections for sexual assault and domestic violence survivors
• And more.

This list just scratches the surface of progress made by the House Democrats, and they’ve done all of this with just a 5 person majority.
