Hello John,
I have another positive update for animals being held at Borth Wild Animal Kingdom!
More animals have left the zoo and found safer homes, with primates from the zoo going to Monkey World monkey sanctuary in Dorset.

Borth Zoo have had their application for a Dangerous Wild Animal Licence turned down by Ceredigion County Council. The licence is required by law for anyone keeping certain wild animals deemed as dangerous, such as big cats and some primates.
As a result the zoo was forced to rehome the primates to Monkey World and will soon be rehoming the lewche they keep captive too (a species of antelope).
This is the latest in a long series of controversy and failings at this zoo, where animals have suffered and died. In September last year, the zoo was forced to rehome the lions, a lynx and a serval who they were holding captive. The zoo was also in debt of around £100,000.
TAKE ACTION!
This is a great development in this campaign to get these animals to safety and shut this place down completely. But not all of the animals are out!
Contact Ceredigion Council (the authority responsible for licensing the zoo) and ask them to close down Borth Zoo for good! ([link removed])
NOTE: The zoo is currently operating under the name 'Borth Animalarium'

With each blow dealt to the zoo, more animals are getting out. This is great news but many animals still remain prisoner at this zoo, and the owners seem determined to keep going as long as they can. We must keep fighting!
Please take action today.
For the animals,
Sam Threadgill

P.S. The fight to close Borth Zoo continues... we must get all the animals to safety! Please contact Ceredigion council today and ask them to shut down the zoo for good! ([link removed])
