** ACCESS Hosts Flood Relief Distribution Events for South and East ends of Dearborn
------------------------------------------------------------
On Friday, June 25, the heavy storms and rainfall that hit southeast Michigan resulted in massive flooding and damage. As a result, the cities of Dearborn and Detroit, along with other areas in Wayne county, have witnessed an overwhelming level of destruction.
With a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, we were successfully able to respond to community needs and distribute 2,500 flood relief packages valued at $80 to residents of the Southend and East Dearborn. Packages included PPE materials, disinfecting supplies, trash bags, fans to help with mold and more.

As a community nonprofit that has been in service for 50 years, ACCESS remains committed to channeling all of its resources to help alleviate this situation however we can. Please feel free to reference and share the following list of resources:
* United Way resources and assistance: call 211 or visit mi211.org
