At this point, we know the type of Senator that Ron Johnson is — a fraud comfortable with spreading deadly lies and openly attacking American democracy.
But today, I’m writing this email to let you know what I stand for. I’m running because the next U.S. Senator from Wisconsin should:
- Support workers rights and unions (I even wrote a book this year about how I helped the local union save a paper mill in my home state)
- Champion Medicare For All & the Green New Deal
- End the filibuster to get progressive policies passed
- Fight to break up Wall Street firms that prey on workers and rig the tax code
- Get corporate money out of our politics
- Break up corporate monopolies to give our small businesses and family farmers a fair shot to compete
- Defend women’s rights
- Stand up for the LGBTQ community
- Tax the rich to make them pay their fair share. The Jeff Bezoses of the world have enough megayachts and personal rocket ships.
These issues are what I care deeply about, and I will do everything in my power to fight on behalf of working folks like you in the Senate. But we’re in this together. Your support right here, right now, could help ensure we defeat Ron Johnson in 2022.

Right now, the GOP, including Senator Johnson, are not even focused on the issues that matter most to everyday Americans. They’re more concerned about restricting your right to vote and rewriting the history of January 6 than trying to win on the issues. John, these attempts to pass voter suppression bills in states like Wisconsin are un-American.
Just look at what’s happening with the Texas lawmakers fleeing their state to protect people’s right to vote.
Disagreeing politically is normal, but it’s another thing entirely to actively work to undermine American democracy. That’s what the GOP is doing across the country. And this type of unpatriotic behavior is exactly why we need to fire Senators like Ron Johnson next year.
