Friend --

I wanted to share more with you about my background and why I'm running for Congress. I hope you'll read the entire message, then consider making a $3 donation to help us improve lives for working families in Montana and beyond >> [link removed]

I'm running for Congress for working parents like mine.

When I was just a baby, I lost my father in an accident at the lumber mill he worked at. His company cut corners on safety, and a log fell and cracked his skull. Had we lived closer to a good hospital, he may have survived.

That log changed everything for me.

It meant my mom raised me and my brother on her own for six years until she met my stepdad. It also meant I would go on to earn a Ph.D. in public health to make sure no Montana family had to experience what we did.

My parents never graduated high school, but they taught us things you can't learn from books. Strength and resilience. They taught us to work hard, to be honest, and to care for one another.

These Montana values are in short supply lately.

Politicians are out for themselves and for special interests. Like my dad and step-dad, most Montanans don't do jobs that need only an internet connection. We work with our hands to make ends meet, and it's always families like mine who find themselves up against big corporations that put profits ahead of our communities.

I'm running for Congress to fight for our community. That means advocating for affordable housing and lowering the cost of living. It means high-wage jobs and accessible health care for all. And it means demanding more for our public lands.

It's time to stand up for families in Montana. But if we're going to do this, I'll need your help:

Will you chip in $3 to join my campaign as a Founding Donor? We're still $23,819 short of our $50,000 launch goal, and meeting this target will help us send a strong message that we have what it takes to fight for Montana's working families.

Cora
