When I served as a state legislator, I hoped that my work would make a positive impact on the lives of everyday Oklahomans. Every morning when I got up to get to work on behalf of my constituents, I'd think of all the people relying on my colleagues and me to get them results. And that's exactly why I ran for Vice Chair of the Oklahoma Democratic Party. It's time for results.
ODP is working hard on candidate recruitment, voter registration, and implementing a statewide message strategy. We're making smart, long term investments that are proven to result in more Democrats elected.
John - make no mistake - Democrats have made some significant inroads across the state the past couple cycles. We have flipped crucial districts from red-to-blue and passed significant reforms like Medicaid Expansion. But it's not nearly enough.
