As we draw closer to The Collective's fifth anniversary, we're spotlighting the different ways we're working to empower the Black community and protect democracy in America.

One central part of our Vote To Live Campaign is the VOTE HBCU program we created in partnership with Xceleader - a nonprofit organization cultivating the next generation of leaders at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

HBCUs have a long, rich history of cultivating change makers and spearheading progress. In 2020, we followed in this tradition by organizing Black students and alumni to register Black voters on HBCU campuses and in communities across the country.

The VOTE HBCU program played a central role in The Collective's Vote To Live Campaign -- the largest Black voter engagement initiative in the country. We registered 114,406 people, including countless first-time voters on college campuses.

Together, we made history last year, and we have plans to register even more voters in 2022 and beyond. We're running an aggressive online fundraising campaign to support Vote To Live, and we need your support. Donate $5, $10, or whatever you can today to help fuel our movement to register Black voters »

Onward,
