Did you hear? Yesterday, our Texas House Democrats met with Vice President Kamala Harris in D.C. -- because that’s how seriously the White House is taking the fight for voting rights.

Here’s what our Vice President told these brave lawmakers:

“You all are national leaders, and are being recognized as just that.”
“You are igniting something that is so important.”
“I can’t thank you enough for what you’ve done.”

Friend, Texas Democrats are still taking a stand -- and we’re being heard in our nation’s highest office, and beyond.
We’ve got serious firepower on our side. And now’s the time to fight even harder for our rights.


If we keep up this fight right now, we’re going to create the pressure to win what we need most: federal protections for voting rights -- so that Black and Brown Americans never have to fight again to exercise our most basic constitutional right.
