BJS and NCES release?*"Report on Indicators of School Crime and Safety: 2020"* [ [link removed] ]
This is the 23rd edition of the "Report on" "Indicators of School Crime and Safety", a joint publication of the Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) and the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). It provides official estimates of school crime and safety from a variety of data sources, including national surveys of students, teachers, principals, and post-secondary institutions. Indicator 2," Incidence of Victimization at School and Away From School", includes data from BJS?s National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS).
Data sources include the NCVS [ [link removed] ], the School Crime Supplement to the NCVS [ [link removed] ], the School-Associated Violent Death Surveillance System, the School Survey on Crime and Safety, the Schools and Staffing Survey, the Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System, and the Campus Safety and Security Survey.
