Gov. Greg Abbott threatens to call repeated special sessions to restrict voting rights

John, did you hear this news? Governor Abbott and Texas Republicans are making another push to limit early voting hours, local voting options, and mail ballots. This GOP bill is blatant voter suppression that would make it harder for Black, Brown and young Texans to vote -- even before they take aim at districts like ours during redistricting.

That’s why we’re launching an emergency $20,000 fund to stand up to these efforts before our mid-month deadline on Friday. Colin is counting on this grassroots team to step up and chip in $5, $25, or whatever you can afford ASAP to show Abbott and the GOP that we’re ready, no matter what partisan tricks they throw our way.
