These are the things that get us to work, school, doctor appointments, and to friends near and far. They keep us connected.

And yet, over 2,000 miles of highways and 273 bridges in Maryland are in poor condition and over 20% of Maryland’s trains and transit vehicles are “past their useful life.”

I’m proud to have supported legislation to secure the kind of meaningful investments we need to rebuild and modernize our country’s crumbling infrastructure. And it doesn’t stop there -- this bill would also create new job opportunities for American workers, help revitalize our economy, and ensure access to clean water for all Americans.

The infrastructure that connects us all touches our lives virtually every single day. It’s time we bring it into the 21st century, and I’m proud to fight to make it happen.
