Team,

When I was younger, I ran track. Anyone who’s ever raced will tell you how important it is to get off the starting block strong. Well, I believe the same can be said for education.

Research shows that children who attend Pre-K programs have positive outcomes including:

*
Increased
academic
readiness
*
Increased
literacy
*
Lower
incarceration
rates
*
Higher
earnings
later
in
life

Educational and economic disparities across Arkansas have kept some kids from reaching their full potential. As a state, we’re falling behind in reading and digital literacy -- which could have huge implications for our children’s future as well as the future of our economy.

This doesn’t have to be the case. Expanded access to Pre-K will help us close the gap between students who have access to opportunities and those who don’t.

Children across the state of Arkansas have unlimited potential -- and they need a leader who is fighting to invest in them.

If you agree that every child deserves a strong start in life, sign on to show your support for expanding access to early childhood education in Arkansas. [[link removed]]

As the dad of three young girls, this issue hits close to home for me. As governor, I’ll make it my mission to ensure that every child in Arkansas has early access to the quality education that they deserve, at every stage of development.

No investment is more essential to our future than our investment in our schools and our students.

This is a top priority for me and I need to know where you stand. Add your name to show you support the right for every child to have access to a quality Pre-K program → [[link removed]]
