Something deeply troubling is happening in the Virginia governor’s race: right-wing extremist and Trump ally Glenn Youngkin is posing as a moderate in an effort to gain votes and win the election.

Youngkin was just on tape admitting that he is “staunchly and unabashedly pro-life” — and at the same time, he said that he will not reveal his true opinions to the public until after he is elected.

You read that right: not only is Youngkin trying to limit reproductive rights, he’s lying about it.

This deceitful behavior is shameful and unacceptable from someone running to represent over 8.5 million constituents. And by intentionally not disclosing his extremist views and framing himself as a moderate in this race, Youngkin is lying to Virginia voters and putting them in danger.

That’s why we’re supporting Democratic candidate for Governor Terry McAuliffe — because we cannot allow another right-wing extremist to hold elected office in this country.
