Free Year-End Giving Brochures for Your Congregation
The Missouri United Methodist Foundation is providing free customized “Giving Thanks at Year-End” brochures. Help inform your congregation about the many ways to give tax-wise financial support to your church in 2019 and beyond. Open Hearts, Open Books Webinar Recording
As part of the Pathway Out of Poverty Conference Priority, the Missouri Conference seeks to connect 100,000 students with 100,000 books by December 31, 2020. To accomplish this goal we need your help! During this webinar, members of the Education Task Force will take you on a tour of the new Open Hearts, Open Books website at [link removed] [link removed]. Here your local church can pledge to give books, view resources for school-church partnerships and more. NextGen Summer Internships
NextGen is hiring now for Ignite Mobile Camp counselors. If you know a young adult looking for the opportunity of a lifetime, refer them to [link removed] [link removed] and someone from the NextGen team will reach out to them shortly. Interns will travel all over the state and build their relationship with God, fellow teammates, and campers. This paid college internship will run from late May through August 9, 2020.
Missouri Delegation Invites Submissions for 2020 Vision Devotional
The General and Jurisdictional Conference delegation of the Missouri Annual Conference invites Missouri laity and clergy to submit short devotions for compilation in a Vision 2020 devotional. This devotional will be used by the Missouri delegation throughout their work and discernment leading up to the General and Jurisdictional Conferences in 2020. The themes of devotions included in this volume should be on seeking wisdom and discerning God's will. Devotions should be roughly 250-words and grounded in scripture.
