You know as well as we do that when we fight to elect someone to office, we want those elected leaders to be bold and to champion the principles that they campaigned on. That's why we are so proud of the hard work Congressman Ted Lieu is putting into battling corruption and Republican obstruction.

He has been a vocal leader in Congress fighting back against the Big Lie and election fraud conspiracy theories

He argued that Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz needs to be removed from the Judiciary Committee, which oversees the Justice Department that is investigating Gaetz on sex trafficking charges.

He spoke up about disgraced Postmaster General Louis DeJoy's scheme to illegally solicit political donations from employees of DeJoy's private business

He denounced radical Republican speeches on the House floor that echoed the racist “replacement” theory pushed by Tucker Carlson, which claims that Democrats are trying to use mass immigration to change the electorate in order to win elections
Far-right Republicans have given us no shortage of reasons to criticize them, and Ted Lieu has been there at every turn to hold them accountable.
Our mission at ASPIRE is to elect more Asian American and Pacific Islander leaders like Ted Lieu to office. Our mission is all the more critical when the alternative is a Republican Party that is hostile to people of color and is actively seeking to shrink the electorate to be less diverse in every part of the country.
