I had a memorable July 4th weekend, and I wanted to show you what our campaign has been up to! It was energizing meeting Marylanders across the state and watching our movement for an equitable Maryland continue to grow.
We kicked the weekend off the perfect way — by marching in parades in Dundalk and Towson. Here I am, joined by my family:

We also stopped by the Catonsville parade on Saturday, and my wife and I had an incredible time speaking to voters about what matters most to them:

On Sunday, we went to River Hill to continue the celebrations. I am so proud of the campaign we are building, and I have the best team I could ever ask for. As my daughters would say, #squadgoals:

At the Charles County fair, we stopped by the old one-room schoolhouse on the fairgrounds, and my family and I took a unique and educative tour learning more about the history of education in Maryland:

But the real star of the holiday weekend was none other than our dog, Max King! He’s our campaign mascot and voter greeter extraordinaire. Here he is meeting some future voters:

Attending community events with my family and connecting with folks on the ground is one of my favorite parts of the campaign trail, and I’m so glad to share it with you. It was great to think more about all the fun we had and all the incredible Marylanders we met. If you want to support my campaign and our efforts to reach more people across the state, it would mean so much if you pitched in now:

Thank you for your engagement,
John King Jr.
