Last night Texas Democrats landed in DC after walking out of the special session to block the Republican voter suppression bill.

They had one simple message: there is no more time. They’re pleading to Congress and the White House to pass legislation to protect voting rights before it’s too late.

Texas Democrats get paid $7,200 a year for their work in the legislature. They have spouses and children at home waiting for them. But they’re in Washington fighting for ALL of our voting rights and our democracy.
