Democrats unilaterally passed the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan to provide much-needed assistance to families, workers, and those hit hardest by the pandemic.

Mitch McConnell admitted that states were going to get a lot more money even though neither himself nor a single Republican in the House or Senate voted for the bill.

Despite the GOP’s refusal to help folks across the country, millions of Americans will benefit from the direct financial aid to families, extension of unemployment benefits, and investments in vaccine distribution.
