The Women's Fund of Colorado had a successful 2021 Legislative Season ([link removed]) . The Women’s Foundation’s top-three priority bills and 21 of 22 that the Foundation took positions on passed. The Women's Fund of Rhode Island scored some major policy wins for women and girls in the state, including:
* Feminine Products: This bill requires all public schools to provide feminine hygiene products at no cost to students.
* Perinatal Doula Reimbursement Act: This bill provides for medical assistance health care for expectant mothers and establishes medical assistance coverage, reimbursement rates for perinatal doula services.
* Fair Employment Practices (aka Fair Pay Act): This bill provides new protections and possible remedies for employees who have faced wage discrimination based on gender.
