Friend,
America faces profound questions right now. What do we value? What do we wish to preserve? And how are we going to make the kind of progress so many Americans are calling out for?
I know we can find the answers. But the clock is ticking, and it's ticking fast.
Congressional Republicans and their dark money donors stand ready to slow our momentum. When they took three months to negotiate an infrastructure deal, they let the clock tick. When they obstructed a vote on the For the People Act, they let the clock tick. They're hoping that lackluster progress on the agenda we Democrats were elected to deliver on will lead to lackluster support for our campaigns.
We need to prove them wrong and show we aren't losing steam -- so we've set a goal to raise $5,000 by our mid-month deadline on July 15. Will you chip in today to keep progress rolling?

I have incredible faith in our prospects for progress, and I'm optimistic that Minnesota will keep a pragmatic progressive in Congress. But to fend off the divisive tactics that national Republicans are going to mount against me -- and keep doing the work Minnesotans sent me to Washington to do -- I need your support right now.
The days remaining to make progress in Washington this summer are numbered, but I'll continue to work against the clock to raise your voice and make sure Congress hears your calls for action on climate, democracy reform, and so much more.
And while I do, I'm not taking a dime from special interests, PACs, or other members of Congress: I'm counting on supporters like you to keep this campaign strong. If you can afford it -- and only if you can afford it -- will you give $10 to our campaign before our mid-month deadline, this Thursday?
Thanks,
Dean
