Tyler never felt like they fit in growing up in a small town in rural Pennsylvania.
Like so many other LGBTQIA+ individuals, it took going to college and meeting a community of queer people for Tyler to truly find themselves.
And since then, they’ve become truly unstoppable -- they completed a masters in counseling, a Ph.D. in social work, and started a family all while running for school board.
Tyler fought and won a seat at the table as the first trans person to hold office in Pennsylvania. Now, Tyler could continue to make history by winning the Erie county executive race.
