Today is the #CareCantWait day of action that includes the Care Is Essential march and the Communities of Care launch event.

Today's Care Is Essential march included homecare, child care and nursing home workers joining together to march from Congress to Freedom Plaza to educate the public about the need for a $400 billion investment in home and community based services to strengthen the care workforce.

The march is ending at Freedom Plaza with the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:15 AM ET [[link removed]] to launch a new art installation featuring portraits of family caregivers and care workers with the individuals they provide care for.

The launch event and ribbon-cutting ceremony will include remarks from care workers, and more.
