Today marks the start of the 5th week since UAW members began their strike at General Motors. Members continue to stand strong, despite the challenges that the strike poses for themselves and their families.
Yesterday, UAW Vice President Terry Dittes filmed a video message for members on strike at GM, thanking them for their sacrifices and reinforcing the power of workers’ voices when we stand together in solidarity. Click below to watch the video on Facebook:
Members and supporters also gathered at Solidarity Sunday events across the country to show their support. If you attended an event, be sure to share your photos on social media and tag the UAW International Union!
