Hi there, good morning!
First, I just want to thank everyone who shared their well wishes for my birthday yesterday. I'm still working my way through all of your kind words, but please know that they mean so much to me.
Our family actually celebrates two birthdays this week; my youngest son turned four today. Right after he was born, I posted this video from his hospital room -- the very first on our campaign's Facebook page:

I ran for Congress to protect the health care that my predecessor tried to rip away from families like mine. It took all of us working together to win the closest and most expensive race in New Jersey history and take back the House in 2018.
All of our hard work paid off big time: we stopped the GOP establishment's assault on our health care. We delivered relief to millions of American families when they needed it the most at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, we're helping our families and small businesses get back on their feet and move forward towards a better future.
Still, I know that my work to keep the promise I made to fight for a better world for all of our kids is far from finished. Plus, all of the progress we fought so hard for depends upon holding NJ-03 and protecting the House majority. After everything we've been through together, we can't afford to go back to letting the GOP's special interest groups and corporate PACs set the agenda.
Even against those dark forces, I know that we can still win this race the same way we always have: together. So, thanks for everything you're doing to help me keep my promise -- and for celebrating every milestone with us along the way. Your support means more to me than I have the words to say.
