Team, infrastructure matters.

It touches so many things in our lives -- from the air we breathe, to the water we drink, and the land we depend on.

That’s why when I talk about infrastructure, I don’t just mean roads and bridges. Here’s what taking bold, comprehensive action to improve Arkansas infrastructure looks like:

*
Sustainable
access
to
groundwater
for
family
owned
farms
*
High-speed
broadband
for
all
Arkansans
*
Safe,
well-designed
housing,
schools,
and
commercial
buildings
*
Update
and
improve
crumbling
roads
and
unsafe
bridges
*
Improved
health
care
infrastructure,
particularly
in
rural
areas

We have to work together to build a better Arkansas for all of us. Join me by signing on below in support of strengthening Arkansas’s infrastructure: [[link removed]]

Arkansas’s disintegrating infrastructure is costly.

Driving on crumbling roads costs an Arkansas driver an average of $671 a year, our current clean drinking water needs cost around $7.4 billion, and our schools have an estimated funding gap of $350 million.

These costs are catching up with us. Without expanding and modernizing our infrastructure Arkansas won’t be able to keep up with the economic and technological demands in the future.

And we’ve seen what happens when we don’t. Right now, the Mississippi River bridge connecting Arkansas and Tennessee is closed due to a crack that went unnoticed for at least 2 years. With the bridge completely shut down, we’re seeing millions of dollars in negative economic impact each day.

We can’t afford to wait. Will you add your name and show your support for building better infrastructure here in Arkansas? [[link removed]]
