John — have you seen the latest news on our race?
"Val Arkoosh would be the first Pa. woman elected to the Senate. But she’s running as Dr. Arkoosh."
—The Philadelphia Inquirer
Not only would Val be the first woman to represent Pennsylvania in the U.S. Senate, but she would be the first woman physician in the Senate ever. That’s newsworthy.
It’s newsworthy because Val not only would bring her problem-solving experience with her to Washington, but also a deep understanding of the struggles her patients have faced. Like the pregnant mom she cared for that had to take multiple buses just to get groceries, the kids with asthma who couldn’t play outside because the air was too dirty, and the patients who couldn’t afford their medications because of skyrocketing drug prices.
Val knew she couldn’t fix all those things as a doctor, that’s why she ran for elected office and it’s why she's decided to run for the U.S. Senate. And it’s because of grassroots supporters like you that people are paying attention.
So, will you help us keep up our momentum and chip in to help Val continue to travel the state and get the word out? [donate: [link removed]]
Just like she did as a doctor, Val has already diagnosed the problems facing our country: an economy that doesn’t work for everyone, the threat of climate change, and a health care system that still puts quality, affordable health care out of reach for too many. Now, we need to send her to Washington to finally treat the problems facing our country.
That’s what Val will fight to do every day in the U.S. Senate, so please chip in now to help her get there. [donate: [link removed]]
