ICYMI: I was thrilled to speak Friday at one of the best gatherings of conservatives this summer. And where better for conservatives to have a conference than in Texas? After all, Texas is what America wants to be. You can watch my speech at CPAC in Dallas here.

I hope the conservatives at CPAC left Texas feeling better about liberty and freedom. Texas is an example of what happens when we combine freedom and prosperity. Wherever they live in America, they will take the fighting spirit of Bowie, Crockett, and Travis for liberty and freedom.

I'm ready to keep fighting for liberty and freedom. Are you? Make no mistake, the conservative movement needs to remain vigilant and continue to expand and protect our freedoms and our values.

We are fighting for public safety.

We are fighting to protect life.

And we are fighting for prosperity.

We are fighting because when you combine safety, life and prosperity, you have liberty and justice for all. That's freedom.

As Texans, we will continue to fight for our conservative values that make Texas a beacon of freedom unto the nation.

As long as I am Lt. Governor, we will fight to expand and protect freedom.

Please continue to keep our state and our nation in your prayers. May God bless you and your family, and may He continue to bless the greatest state of all—Texas.
