Politico: Republicans weigh 'cracking' cities to doom Democrats
>>> [link removed]
As 2021 redistricting kicks off, the GOP is discussing their gerrymandering strategy -- including potential plans to “crack” cities, which tend to vote Democratic, into two or more Republican-majority districts.
Remember what they did to Austin? They split it into FIVE U.S. House districts, only one of which is represented by a Democrat.

But the NDRC has a plan to stop them. We're getting the public involved in redistricting, and we have a strategy to analyze any proposed maps, hold Republican map-drawers accountable, and even support plaintiffs in lawsuits to protect the redistricting process.
Here's the issue, though: Resources are limited and this work can't get done without your help. So we're asking -- can you make an urgent donation to help us stop the GOP from cracking cities, denying fair representation to millions of people, and flipping the House?
