Let's get real, friend.

Throughout this whole campaign, we’ve seen a steady flow of disinformation and negative attacks from Conservatives, and we know we can expect even more of it in the final week of this campaign. Here are just a few examples of what we’ve seen so far:

"The Conservatives’ misleading claims about a ‘secret’ Liberal Housing tax"
"An attack site with an altered document and no hard evidence of changes to capital gains"

And this:

"Scheer claims carbon tax ‘has been proven to fail’"
"...his statement earns a rating of 'a lot of baloney'"

Oh, and this too:

"No, Rick Mercer did not publicly endorse the Conservative Party"
"...The [Rick Mercer] quote posted to the Conservative Facebook page added the words, 'Vote Conservative.'"

You’ve heard about these kinds of misinformation and disinformation tactics around the world, and there is no place for that kind of politics in Canada.

But here are few things the Conservatives have been clear about:

- Andrew Scheer’s plan will make $53 billion in cuts to services that Canadians rely on, while giving a $50,000 tax cut to millionaires
- The Conservatives’ first act in government would be to make pollution free again, and take us backwards to the same inaction against climate change that we all remember from Stephen Harper
- The Conservatives would weaken gun control.
While the Conservatives want to go backwards to the negative politics and failed policies of the Harper years, Justin Trudeau and our Liberal team will move forward with a plan to invest in the middle class, grow the economy, keep our communities safe, and protect a clean environment.

Who knows what they’ll say next, but we do know that with your help we can be ready to counter Conservative attacks, respond to disinformation, and connect with more Canadians about our positive plan to Choose Forward. And this close to Election Day, every second matters.
