WEDNESDAY, JULY 21st
Happy Hour at Ozona Grill

TUESDAY, AUGUST 10th
Special Event with Texas Land Commissioner and candidate for Texas Attorney General
George P. Bush
Hello Dallas County Young Republicans!

Please join us on Wednesday, July 21st at 6:30 PM at Ozona Grill & Bar located at 4615 Greenville Ave. as Dallas County Young Republicans hold a special July Happy Hour social event! We have reserved the private event space in the back of the restaurant where we have held all our events this year. Food will be available as well. This social event will give you a chance to get out of the summer heat and enjoy some cold drinks and good food with fellow Young Republicans! We have built an incredible membership of talented, engaging people, and we want to give everyone a chance to socialize in a relaxed, casual environment. Part of our goal this year is for Young Republicans in Dallas County to build social and professional relationships with like-minded conservatives. This event is free and open to everyone!

I also want to remind you about our special event for the month of August. Please join us on Tuesday, August 10th at 6:30 PM at the Dallas Petroleum Club as we host one of the biggest names in Texas politics - the Texas Land Commissioner and candidate for Texas Attorney General, George P. Bush! Commissioner Bush will be in the spotlight more than ever before as he challenges the incumbent Attorney General Ken Paxton for the Republican nomination next year. This will be one of the highest profile races in Texas this cycle, and this event will be a fantastic opportunity for Dallas YR’s to interact directly with one of the individuals that will be in the headlines over the coming months. The son of former Florida Governor Jeb Bush and the nephew of former President George W. Bush, Commissioner Bush is one of the youngest elected officials currently holding statewide office in Texas, and he will provide us with his unique perspective on the most recent session of the Texas Legislature, the
challenges facing Texas, and the future of the Republican Party in Texas. You do not want to miss this incredible event!

Commissioner Bush will begin his remarks promptly at 7:00 PM. The event will take place at the Dallas Petroleum Club, located on the 39th floor of Chase Tower downtown (2200 Ross Ave). Parking is available in the garage below the building for $1. Attire for the event is business casual. We will have a private room inside for our meeting. Please email us your questions for Commissioner Bush ahead of time to [email protected]. Submitting questions via email ahead of time will be the most efficient way to maximize our time with Commissioner Bush. We want to make sure that everyone has a chance to have their questions asked!

I am looking forward to seeing everyone at our Happy Hour on July 21^st at Ozona! Please invite your friends for that social event, and please remember to mark your calendars for the George P. Bush event at the Dallas Petroleum Club on August 10^th. When you take ownership of DYR and invite your friends to events like these, you are contributing to the amazing grassroots organization that we are building. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your willingness to put yourself out there and invite your friends. They will not be disappointed! Thank you for your continued support of Dallas County Young Republicans.
