Hello John,
Last week, we announced the first webinar in our Summer Series entitled "Civic Conversations: Teaching Race, Religion, & Politics". We have had a date change, and will now host Dr. Anika Prather Thursday, July 22 at 6 p.m. ET to explore our first topic, Teaching Race in the Classroom. Dr. Prather is a former classroom teacher and is currently co-authoring a book on the Black Classical Tradition. She has a special interest in showing how Classical studies can be used to bring racial healing. We hope you can join us for this can't miss conversation!
