It’s time to abolish the filibuster, John.
For decades now, the filibuster has been used to block progress on civil rights, economic justice, COVID relief and more.
Rand Paul and his treasonous buddies in the Senate have used the filibuster to block the creation of a nonpartisan commission to investigate the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol and landmark voting legislation in the For the People Act, and now they’re using it to hold up President Biden’s infrastructure passage.
We can no longer allow a small minority to constantly override the will of the American people. People are ready for real change, and it’s time we scrap the filibuster and get some damn things done for the American people.
That’s why I’m running for Senate against Rand Paul. And when I win this race, I will make sure we use our Democratic Senate majority to kick the filibuster to the curb. But first, I need to know you’re with me in this fight.

The filibuster is not some long-standing constitutional staple. It is a relic of the Jim Crow era, created to allow a small minority of U.S. Senators to impede the will of the people.
The fact that straightforward bills to investigate a deadly insurrection or expand voting rights can get blocked by the filibuster tells you all you need to know about why we need to get rid of it once and for all.
We need more senators who have the courage to put this Jim Crow relic in the past where it belongs, so we can finally pass the progressive legislation that our families so desperately need. I’m in the race, but I need to know if I have your support.
