Thousands of Cubans are taking to the streets to protest the tyrannical Cuban regime. For over 60 years, the Cuban dictatorship has repressed its people. Now, Cubans are coming together, shouting, “We want freedom” and, “We are no longer afraid.”

Here’s how their fight for freedom resonates with some of our conservative women:

A Cuban-American and human rights advocate, Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar (FL-27) showed overwhelming support for the movement.

Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11), whose mother is a Cuban exile of the Castro dictatorship, is also standing in solidarity with the people of Cuba.
