Hi Friend,

Today, Texas Democrats are making history -- again. Right now, a group of Texas Lawmakers are leaving Texas to break quorum -- risking arrest to defend our right to vote.

Friend, Republicans have not stopped trying to slash our voting rights. They have not stopped trying to silence the voices of Texas voters: voters of color. Working people. Voters with disabilities. In the face of those attacks, our Democratic lawmakers said, “No more.” No more attacks on our communities, and our right to make our voice heard. No more shutting us out.

We are not the only state in the country where voting rights are under attack. But, because of the courage of these lawmakers, Texas is showing the country what it means to hold the line. Today, we are speaking with one voice, and our message is clear: We will do whatever it takes to protect the right to vote in this state. We will do whatever it takes to fight for Texans.


Friend, if you’ve been waiting for the time to show up for our rights, it’s now. The attacks will keep coming. But if we keep standing together like we are today, we will hold the line. Will you chip in $7 or whatever you can to our Texas Democratic fight today?
