| Friend, By now, the controversy of Critical Race Theory has likely reached your household. Do we want more division? The answer is simple: NO. Critical Race Theory perpetuates the idea that racism is innate, creating an abusive cycle of blame and guilt. How can we be forward-looking people if we pass on such wrongheaded thinking to our children and grandchildren? Children need to be taught the basics during their K-12 education. English, reading, math, science, and history.
This is a critical issue. We cannot allow our children to be poisoned with hate and division, but that’s exactly what will happen if Critical Race Theory is taught in our classrooms.
