In just two days, we will be closing the books on our mid-month fundraising deadline. I'm being told we are still a bit behind on where we need to be to hit our target, which is why I'm reaching out to you. But before I ask you to chip in, I want to take a moment to explain why this deadline is important:

Democrats are going to need all hands on deck to take back the Senate and the White House in 2020. I'm ready and willing to do everything I can to make sure they get the support they need, but that's going to take a heck of a lot of resources — which is how my team and I set fundraising goals just like this one.

When we hit or miss a target, it impacts how much time I get to spend campaigning for Democratic candidates up and down the ticket. And I'll be honest: I would much rather be doing that than dialing for dollars or worrying about our numbers.

So, here comes the part where I ask for your help:
