| Fellow American, America is experiencing a dramatic rise in violent crime. Over the Fourth of July weekend, at least 100 people were shot in Chicago. It was their deadliest weekend this year. After refusing help from President Trump in 2020 and defunding her police department, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot is now begging President Biden for federal assistance to get control of the crime on her streets. Crime is surging in Chicago and other Democrat-run cities, and they are also calling the Biden Administration for help. Yet, Lightfoot used talking points about a decrease in crime in Chicago before meeting with Biden last week! These foolish leaders are feeling the pain of their decisions, and now they want to blame the crime crisis on responsible gun owners. Can you donate today to help me protect the Second Amendment? Joe Biden has all the wrong ideas to fix these issues. He wants to target law-abiding gun owners instead of acknowledging the real issue at hand: Defunding the police is a failed experiment, and the lack of proactive policing in major cities has become deadly. Democrats should focus their efforts on re-establishing funding for their police departments, and everyone can see that plainly. We’ve got to stand up to these hypocrites who are leading the Democratic Party. They defund their police departments and lie about crime stats while desperately asking for federal help and blaming their problems on me and you, Fellow American.
