John,

Climate change is happening now, so isn't it time we stop the things that are making it worse?

The answer is clear: We have to stop burning fossil fuels.

Dirty energy corporations want to continue business as usual, to keep raking in money while the world burns. For decades, corporate polluters like Exxon suppressed the science that showed drilling and fracking would drive climate change, harm our planet and endanger our health. And for far too long, weak politicians have helped them.

We no longer have the luxury of time to tackle climate change. Tell President Biden: We need visionary leadership on climate NOW! Reject all new fossil fuel infrastructure. No new oil, gas or coal!

To deal with a global crisis, inaction and ineffective half-measures won't cut it. We need something different: bold, urgent action to solve the climate crisis, not appease the polluters who caused it.

Congress and the Biden administration are debating legislation like the CLEAN Future Act that substitute slick industry schemes like carbon capture and cap-and-trade for real solutions. Here’s the truth: Industry polluters won’t ever propose anything to combat climate change; they only want drilling and fracking to continue.

Take Action

Big change requires courage. But the alternative is unthinkable.

Each new pipeline, compressor station, power plant, export facility, fracking operation and drilling site fuels climate change. Each new project locks us into decades of disaster. That's why President Biden and his administration need to do more than just nix Keystone XL. They need to stop Line 3, Dakota Access, fracked gas exports and Formosa Plastics, too.

The age of fossil fuels is over. It's time the people we elect stop trying to keep it afloat. That's why we're part of a powerful coalition demanding President Biden take the strong stand we need to fight climate change: Stop all new fossil fuel projects and infrastructure.

To stop climate chaos, we need to take on the fossil fuel industry and halt the expansion of fossil fuel infrastructure. The time to transition to 100% renewables is now, not decades from now.

When enough of us raise our voices to demand change, there’s nothing we can’t accomplish. Together, we can stop climate change — join us in telling President Biden: Enough is enough. Real action on climate change requires bold solutions — no new oil, gas or coal infrastructure.
