Dear Twin Ports DSA Members and Associates,

We have a Racial Justice Working Group meeting this week. It might be at a new time (Thursday instead of Friday). Email Lydia at [email protected] to find out specifics and get on the list.

Sunday at 2 pm we have our Steering meeting, this time at Toni's house. I will email details later.

In chapter news, our float painting potluck chapter check-in was a lot of fun, and productive. We will attend three parades this year if all goes as planned, Spirit Valley Days, the Cloquet Labor Day Parade, and the Superior Pride Parade. Here you can see David and Mary applying some DSA red.

This week from national DSA, we have a couple political education opportunities worth checking out:

What is a Union? A conversation with union members about the basics of union organizing.

How can we make DSA multiracial and anti-racist? "All DSA members welcome--for DSA to become a self-consciously multiracial and anti-racist organization, we need everyone's efforts."

In solidarity,
John Krumm
TPDSA Secretary

(If you have been receiving these emails and aren't a member yet, we want you to join! Our goals are both broad and local,  and we intend to win as many as possible. Simply put--the Green New Deal, Medicare for All, green housing for all, a justice system that helps instead of harms, an end to poverty, socialists in office everywhere--these goals and more will not happen without mass participation.
