GOP-led state legislatures across the country are trying to emulate Georgia’s voter suppression bill. Republicans have introduced nearly 400 voter suppression bills nationwide. They are silencing voters — especially voters of color.

Republicans in Georgia escalated their conspiracy theories by pushing an “audit” of the 2020 votes in Fulton County. Even after these votes have been counted three separate times and the non-partisan election officials have been very clear — there is no evidence of voter fraud.

Republicans’ dangerous agenda is grounded in misinformation about what happened in November. Republicans falsely claim that the election was somehow fraudulent. The truth is that the Republican party has given up on winning elections the fair way.

Republicans know they cannot win over the American people with their policies so their plan is to cheat their way back into power and continue serving the wealthy elite.

It is time to stop these absurd attacks on American voters and focus on real solutions.
